Flood Relief Houses in Cuddalore – Rs.1.56 crore
 

IVDP had identified and constructed 316 houses sizing 176 sq.ft to the worst affected poor families in Cuddalore District during the flood due to “Vardha Cyclone” at the cost of Rs.1.56 crores.

 
Kerala Flood Relief – Rs.1 crore
 

On 15th October 2018, the IVDP President “Ramon Magsaysay”, Mr.Kulandai Francis, handed over the demand draft worth of Rs.1 crore to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala, Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan at the State Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram.

 
 
Cyclone Gaja Relief work – Rs.80 lakh

To respond this emergency situation and sustain the affected families, IVDP provided the relief package containing solar lamps, bed sheets, tarpaulins and mosquito nets to 7500 families worth of Rs.80 lakhs in the cyclone affected districts.

 

1500 Solar lamps worth of Rs.7 lakhs to the students of Auxilium College at Raghunathapuram, Pudhukottai District.

530 Solar lamps worth of Rs.5 lakhs to the families in Sri Lankan Refuge Camp at Thoppukollai, Pudhukottai District.

Distribution of Relief materials worth of Rs. 10 Lakhs (solar lamp, Bed sheet, mosquito net and Tarpaulins) to Gaja Cyclone victims in Vedharanyam Taluk in Nagapattinam Dt.

Rs. 3 lakhs worth of Sanitary napkins to Thanjavur District.

Distribution of Relief materials worth of Rs. 10 Lakhs (solar lamp, Bed sheets, mosquito net and Tarpaulins) to Gaja Cyclone victims in Nagapattinam Taluk and District.

Covid 19 Relief – 1st Phase – Rs.61.52 lakhs
 

Covid-19 affects different people in different ways. The psycho, social effects of this pandemic created a greater impact on every citizen of the country. More than a psychological impact, the pandemic has left visible impression on marginalized sections, women and children has been enormous in our country.

Many lost their daily wages and fell into extreme poverty. Without the means to earn an income during lockdowns, many are unable to feed themselves and their families.

Inorder to feed the hunger, the IVDP came forward to support them with food materials. (The relief package contains 25kgs Rice, 1 kg Dhall and 1 ltr cooking oil). For this purpose, the IVDP identified the most deserving and needy people in Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri and Tirupattur District.
