AUDIT

ENSURING TRANSPARENCY AND INTEGRITY THROUGH AUDITS.

In IVDP, audits are conducted to evaluate the quality of record-keeping in SHGs’ books of accounts. This includes verifying individual passbooks of SHG members, reconciling bank passbooks with SHG records, and ensuring that credit is used appropriately by federated SHGs and their members. The audit also builds confidence among bankers, assuring them that the SHGs are being monitored and verified regularly by the SHG federation. Additionally, the audit identifies training needs for the SHGs being audited.

IVDP staff conducts audits to consolidate the income, expenditure, and financial transactions of SHGs over a specific period (April to March).
