IVDP SHG Training Centre

To further empower its Self-Help Group (SHG) members, the Integrated Village Development Project (IVDP) has established a state-of-the-art Industrial Training Centre in Krishnagiri in 2021. This center serves as a hub for both skill development and financial empowerment. SHG members receive practical training here and also carry out their financial transactions through Cluster Level Federation (CLF) offices and a dedicated bank branch located within the premises.

Facilities at the IVDP SHG – Industrial Training Centre (ITC):

1.  Exclusive Tamil Nadu Grama Bank branch for SHG financial services

2.  Eight Cluster Level Federation (CLF) Offices for SHG operations

3.  Tailoring Centre to provide skill training for SHG women

4.  Computer Training Facility to enhance digital literacy among SHG members

5.  Dedicated SHG Training Center for capacity building

6.  Multi-Purpose Auditorium for meetings, workshops, and events

This facility stands as a model for integrated rural development by combining training, banking, and support services under one roof to ensure sustainable empowerment of women through SHGs.
