CLUSTER LEVEL FEDERATIONS (CLFs)

The IVDP SHGs grouped into Cluster level Federations (CLFs) for better monitoring and Functioning.

At present IVDP has 84 CLFs in Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Tirupattur and Vellore districts.

Training for IVDP SHG Animators and Members

IVDP offers step-by-step training and continuous support to SHGs, helping them build capacity in credit planning, loan recovery, record-keeping, and ensuring transparency in group operations. To function professionally and effectively, SHGs must enhance their skills and knowledge.

Training and capacity-building are ongoing processes at IVDP, fostering efficiency and quality in group activities. Through this process, SHGs gain valuable knowledge, skills, and techniques that enhance their overall effectiveness and sustainability.

Digitalization of IVDP SHGs Monitoring System.

The digitalization of SHG accounts and operations has been successfully adopted by members, who have responded positively. Group members can now view all their transactions on a tablet and manage operations using a fingerprint device. This approach creates a comprehensive information base and an effective Management Information System (MIS), which can support targeted interventions and the convergence of other programs aimed at social and financial empowerment. Additionally, it helps identify suitable interventions to nurture and strengthen SHGs.
